Jamaican steamed cabbage / Caribbean food (SUB)

Easy way to cook Jamaican steamed cabbage. It takes just 10-15 minutes to prepare but it’s incredibly delicious and healthy! Just follow my step by step video instruction and enjoy.

In Jamaica, such cabbage is served both as a side dish and as an independent dish.
It is considered very beneficial for health, and it is prepared very simply and quickly!

Cabbage 500 grams (For this recipe, use young cabbage)
4 garlic cloves (It is better to take young. It's more flavorful)
1 onion
1 carrot
Sweet pepper 150 grams (fresh or frozen)
Green onion
Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
Salt
Thyme with oregano (optional)
Crashed pepper
Butter 50 grams

Cover and stew for 5-10 minutes

Then mix all the vegetables well over high heat.

The cabbage should stay a little crispy and juicy!

I serve this cabbage with hot jalapeno peppers (but this is optional)
